Wedding photography at Horsley Towers
It was the last weekend in October and we were back at the wonderfully eccentric Horsley Towers with our lovely and very relaxed couple Donna and Daniel.
This was our second time here with them as we had shot their pre wed shoot here in mid August...so all it was now was the addition of a few more people, some ceremonies, food and drink and a few other surprises.
Whilst not as hot as our time here in August it was still remarkably good weather for so late in the year, a trend we have noticed over the last two years.
The day went very well, with everyone enjoying the pleasant weather and the big occasion, helped along by Noel, the master of ceremonies who I had first met and worked with at another Horsley wedding a few months earlier in July.
Donna and Daniel were on fine form as you can see with their wry smiles throughout and the Soprano Bella's singing Waiters in Disguise certainly brought the Great Hall's roof down with an unforgettable performance that had everyone standing, hugging, crying and singing along at the top of their voices.
A great day, a great couple and certainly a wedding to remember.
And a quick shout out to the people and companies that helped make the day special:

Coombe Wood Gardens pre wedding photography
Well this blog of our lovely couple Danny and Emma was meant to be published BEFORE their wedding at Morden Park House (covered in the blog below) but hey ho, that's busy wedding photographers for you.
Anyway, our little pre wedding photo shoot was in the beautiful and award winning Coombe Wood Gardens, a place we have been to a few times now for pre wedding shoots and also for weddings in The Chateau which is adjacent to the gardens.
Danny and Emma turned up with their adorable little baby daughter so it had more of a family shoot feel to it as Millie was in exploring and play time mode which is requires a little more attention than usual.
The sun was out, the stunning flowers were in bloom and we all had fun.

Wedding photography at Merton Register Office, Morden Park House
At the end of September we were back at one of our favourite Surrey wedding venues, Merton Register Office in Morden Park House for the marriage of Danny and Emma.
We had met them earlier in the month with their baby daughter for their pre wedding shoot which was at the beautiful Coombe Wood Gardens and now the big day had arrived.
The weather was great and after their moving wedding ceremony in the Ewart Room, we were all out in the adjoining Morden Park for the group wedding photographs and a romantic stroll around the park.
Then it was back to their 1930′s style Beauford vintage wedding car after a quick pose in front of another couple's classic 50's car and off to the Central London Golf Centre in Wandsworth.
The day was a indeed a great one, everything running smoothly and our lovely couple Dan and Emma along with their wedding guests were all delightful and a pleasure to be with.

Chalk Lane Hotel wedding photography
Two weeks after their pre wed photo shoot on Tooting Common it was now time for the real thing and on a warm Sunday afternoon in early September we were off to the Chalk Lane Hotel in Epsom for the marriage of Donna and Adrian.
It was a delight to be back with our lovely couple again and their relaxed and intimate wedding day was full of fun and laughter.
Special praise goes to Donna for all her hard work in the preparation of the wedding details, a matter that was very well received by the registrars and wedding guests.

Wedding photographer thank you cards
It's always great when you get a thank you from clients, especially when they go to the trouble of sending you a personal card through the post.
After a very busy summer we have just re-found a couple which we thought we would share with you.
We thank both couples for making the effort to say thank you, it is very much appreciated and our special thanks to Donna and Adrian for their wonderful personalised wedding photographer card...I love the waistcoat though I do seem to be thinning on the top a little.
And we look forward to more.
