Natural flowing story telling of your wedding day
And so there will be so many unforgettable moments that you will want to look back over, again and again and cherish forever.

Eye-catching photographs packed with emotion
During all these moments there will be little looks and gestures that say a thousand words
I am always focussed (pun intended) on capturing it all and providing you with a wealth of stunning, heart-felt emotional moments and memories that will make you smile with happiness and that you will cherish forever.
As well as being an absolute pleasure for me it is also a big responsibility and one that I take very seriously.

Capturing all those BIG and little moments
As well as capturing all the big important moments that you would expect, there are all those little incidental moments that you never got to see or notice
Such as the lovely bride calmy concentrating on untangling her necklace in the bridal car on route to church...

"Our photos are lovely”

“Beautiful wedding photos. We absolutely love them”

"You were totally brilliant"

Natural and romantic wedding photography
And then there is that moment during the wedding celebrations when I steal you away and take you far from the madding crowd…
When I take you off to somewhere tranquil and relaxing where you can enjoy some lovely moments together, away from the party atmosphere so that you can reflect on your journey so far and take in the exhilarating fact that you actually did it!
This is a perfect opportunity to get some beautiful, natural and romantic photographs of you before you return to the heady celebrations.
It's also a great time for you to have a little fun and do anything that takes your fancy.

Why I love weddings
I love weddings because they are such fabulous and happy celebratory occasions
As a passionate and dedicated wedding photographer in Surrey, I always feel elated when my couples say how much they enjoyed me being part of their special day and how they have loved reliving it through their wedding pictures.
So after over 17 years and 500+ weddings you would think I’ve seen it all, but actually every week I see something new.
Shooting from roofs, fire escapes and ladders and from fire engines, buses and golf buggies...I have photographed a zombie invasion, pirates dueling, groomsmen snowball fighting, Elvis crooning, singing waiters and policemen...

3 reasons to get married in Surrey
1. There are lots of fabulous venues - some world famous
- It is blessed with many grand stately homes and beautiful country houses, venues such as Polesden Lacey, Great Fosters, Barnett Hill, Pennyhill Park and Nonsuch Mansion are just a small handful of the many luxury hotels and wedding venues
- It has 7 historic castles and whilst Farnham Castle is the only habitable one and used for marriages, the others all offer atmospheric photographic backdrops for newlyweds to pose in front of, especially at Guildford Castle for couples who have just tied the knot at nearby Guildford Register Office in Artington House
- There are also a number of fine barn venues, popular ones being Gate Street Barn, Loseley Park and Coltsford Mill
- There’s even a venue with a sandy beach by Frensham Great Pond in Farnham.
- Hampton Court Palace is Grade l Listed and situated in East Molsey, Richmond-upon-Thames and is world famous for its stunning Baroque architecture and wonderful gardens
- Founders Building at Royal Holloway in Egham is one of the world’s most spectacular university buildings, overwhelming in scale and yet also hosting weddings in a wonderfully intimate and atmospheric chapel, a truly memorable place to get married in
- Guildford Cathedral is a building based on Gothic Revival architecture and is infamous for the scene in the 1976 classic horror film The Omen where Damien first sets eyes on the building
- And speaking of films many famous productions have been made in the county including Downton Abbey, The Crown, Skyfall, Gladiator and Love Actually to name but a few
2. That are all surrounded by ancient woodland
- Surrey is known as the woodland county as a fifth is covered with trees, more than any other county
- Along with the Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, there are some 2,000 miles of public paths with stunning walks and fabulous viewing points
- With stunning views from Box Hill and from Leith Hill, the highest point in the county both of which are popular locations for pre-wed shoots throughout the year as well as for newlywed couples who are celebrating at nearby venues such as Burford Bridge Hotel and Denbies Vineyard
3. And all connected by great transport links
- Surrey is very well geographically positioned for wedding venues bordering Greater London, Kent, East and West Sussex, Hampshire and Berkshire
- You’re usually never very far from a train station that can get you to the centre of London in around 45 minutes
- The A3 links all the main wedding venues directly to London and Surrey and has equal access to both Gatwick and Heathrow airports
My 9 favourite Surrey wedding venues
This is a difficult one as there are so many great wedding venues in Surrey, all of which are different and offering something special but if I had to pick my 9 personal favourites then they would be:
- For its sheer wow factor, Botleys Mansion

- For it’s beautiful gardens and interiors Great Fosters
- Horsley Towers for it's unique architecture and atmosphere
- For it’s fabulous grounds and unique attractions Painshill Park

Choosing a wedding photographer - 8 Questions to ask
So you've booked your date and wedding venue and possibly the next thing on your long To Do list is to book your photographer. Looking for the right one can be a pretty daunting affair, especially as there seems to be so many to choose from and we all seem to be so busy these days; so here are 8 questions you should ask:
- Do you know someone who's got married recently or have you been to a wedding where you liked what you saw? Always a good start before going to wedding fairs or searching online and looking through all the websites and wedding supplier directories
- You like their work, so can you afford them? For most couples, budget will be an important factor along with the photography style
- How experienced are they and is wedding photography their full-time job?
- Have they worked at your venue or somewhere similar (not an essential qualification but it can help)
- Can you chat to them or better still meet up with them in person or via video conferencing? Remember that they will be with you, your family and friends for the whole day so it's important that you all get along
- Can they provide you with examples of real weddings and albums?
- Do they have lots of great customer reviews?
- Are they flexible to your wedding plans and requirements?
So how much does wedding photography cost?
- This will be primarily based on your budget along with some other important factors such as photography style, the photographer's personality, experience, reviews and flexibility to your requirements
- An important factor to always bear in mind when reviewing prices is the old adage that if a price is too good to be true then it usually is
- A full-time professional photographer has to earn a living so their pricing will typically take into account their average bookings and availability throughout the year, their equipment and maintenance, their website and image security, editing software, insurance etc
- We offer our services to meet a range of customer needs: so covering our Register Office clients who may only require our special Quarter-Day Register Office package, our Half-Day package for those who don't require a full day's coverage along with three options for our Full-Day coverage couples
- We also have special offers throughout the year so it's always worth having a chat if you want a clearer pictures of your options
