St. Mary's Weybridge and Gate Street Barn wedding reception
I last met James and Lucy back in May when we went to Whitely Village near Walton for their pre wed shoot - a lovely place in the woods for a very relaxed and enjoyable session and a great practice for the Big Day.
On a rather hot and bright August Saturday I met James outside St. Mary's Church in Weybridge looking good and composed, if not a little nervous. After meeting and greeting family and guests he was soon seated in the front row of the church with his brother Ed...ready for the arrival of his beautiful Bride.
Sure enough it wasn't long before the lovely Lucy arrived all beaming smiles as she was met by her family outside St Mary's.
After a sweet and fun marriage service followed by a magnificent bubble blowing session outside, it was into the wedding car and off to the charming and picturesque Gate Street Barn in the village a of Bramley, some 21 miles away.
Gate Street Barn is a truly delightful Surrey wedding venue, one that has a very recent history, having been created from the devastation of the 1987 storms, and as a summer venue is just perfect: as well as a colourful garden at the front there is a large lawn at the back which is a great place for guests to mingle over drinks and for playing some garden party games. The lawn leads up to a large field inhabited by local cows and only that week there have been the addition of two new two calves which was lovely to see.
It was a day full of fun and of plenty of emotion and I left them as the room was being changed over for the night time activities.
It was a pleasure first meeting Lucy and James for both the pre wed photo shoot and the wedding day itself. A lovely sporty couple who are so suited to each other and we wish them all the very best for their bright new future.

St. James Church Elstead & Russets Country House wedding
After a rather hot service in St. James Church in the little village of Elstead we were off to the delightful Surrey wedding venue Russets Country House in the quaint village of Chiddingfold - perfect for a bright summer's day with all its doors opening onto the vast lawn - and all so smoothly run by the friendly owners Tim and Kate.
As you can see from these few wedding pictures Loren looked stunning and Dan looked dashing and everyone enjoyed the celebrations. Highlights for us were Dan and Loren taking time out to have some fun on the trampoline - great to see and capture.
A great fun couple who had a fabulous, memorable wedding day.
We look forward to returning to the delightful Russets Country House in early 2016.

New Malden and Ramster Hall Surrey wedding
It has been five long months since our last blog back on 1st June such has been our very busy 2015 wedding season. It is only now just easing off though we have a wedding later this afternoon at Nonsuch Mansion.
Anyway back to the first of many catch up blogs...so we now go back to 19th June where I joined the lovely Olivia who was getting ready at her husband to be Tom's parent's house in New Malden. The house was a hive of activity with Olivia's family and friends getting ready, many of which had only recently made the long journey from Melbourne Australia (as did the top tier of the wedding cake).
Olivia looked stunning in her art deco styled wedding dress along with her blue suede shoes and Tom made a entrance in his sharp electric blue suit and bright yellow socks.
The service at the lovely Christ Church New Malden was a joy with the vicar there being most welcoming, not always the case for the visiting wedding photographer.
After a fun and light-hearted wedding there was some time outside in the bright sunshine for guests to mill around, taking pictures and eating crisps before the journey to the beautiful Surrey wedding venue Ramster Hall.
From then on it was more of the same in the lovely courtyard garden after which I left.
Lovely couple, great wedding and a wonderful reception.

Relaxed and fun wedding day in Dorking at the Burford Bridge Hotel
We'd last seen Lizzie and Rob in April, just three weeks earlier for their pre wed shoot on Box Hill and where we also learnt that Lizzie was seven months pregnant.
Now on the big day itself, Lizzie looked very relaxed and mellow in her parents' lovely garden in East Horsley along with family, pet ferrets and dogs, whilst Rob who was at the Burford Bridge Hotel was looking a tad nervous, though his close friends were helping to ease his nerves.
After a lovely wedding ceremony in the great Tithe Barn, full of funny face pulling, the rest of the celebrations eased their way through the day with everyone out on the grass drinking and eating canapés and enjoying the fine weather.
There was some fun time to be had posing by the cool classic car brought along for the occasion and though it wasn't convenient to go up to Box Hill for some newlywed pictures, they had at least got there for the pre wed session, a walk around the pleasant grounds was just as romantic and enjoyable.
A wonderfully happy and relaxed day, full of friendly people and lots of laughter.
We wish Rob and Lizzie all the very happiness for the future and of course for the imminent birth of their baby... not long now...get your sleep in while you can.

Fine family wedding at Wotton House, Dorking
This wedding was a late booking and as we were unable to meet our couple beforehand, we found we were thinking on this fine May Saturday morning, I wonder what our Bride and Groom are like?
As it turned out, Julia and Jeff were childhood sweethearts and have been together for over 17 years and with grown up children, who would of thought it looking at them?
The day was a beautiful one with Richard starting off at Julia's house whilst Tina was with the boys in the bar and on the patio at Wotton House.
Then it was on to the ceremony in the beautiful Old library, a particular favourite of ours followed by canapés and champagne out in the tranquil and relaxing grounds...and from a sudden and very unexpected rain shower which caught us all unawares during the group wedding pictures, the afternoon, as usual progressed without a hitch.
Julia and Jeff are a lovely couple who really enjoyed their wedding day, as it seemed did everyone else.
