Surrey wedding photographers in London's Brockwell Park
Last Sunday morning just after a late one the night before at a Kingswood Golf Club wedding we were back in the rather pleasant Brockwell Park. Last time we were here it was for a pre wed shoot in summer when we were able to use the beautiful walled garden as a romantic background for our couple.
This pre wedding photo shoot would have a different tone as there is nothing in bloom in early March and our handsome couple Ben and Anna had also decided to bring along their adorable puppy Lola* so a relaxed walk through the park was the order of the day.
With lots of people out enjoying a sunny and warm Sunday morning we decided to take in the ornamental lake with its bridges along with some good old trees and park benches to frame our pre wedding pictures.
As with all our pre wed shoots, which are included in all our Full Day wedding packages, these are a great way to see how our couples react to the cameras and in turn for them to see how we work.
I am sure you will agree that Ben and Anna looked like true lovers and made even more complete with the addition of the lovely Lola.
We very much look forward to covering their wedding in six weeks time at the cosy and welcoming Cain Manor.
* As we mentioned to Anna and Ben during the session some very good friends of ours had a sweet baby girl last year who they named Lola...and their dog's name was Archie.

Xmas wedding photography report from Farnham Castle
It's just 6 days before Christmas on this busy rush of Yule time weddings and events starting at the grand and historic Farnham Castle and where the weather couldn't be better - blue skies and warm sunshine.
Which is just how we left off with our lovely couple Adam and Sammy back in November when we had our fun and very relaxed pre wed shoot up on a sunny and packed Box Hill.
Back to Farnham Castle where Adam is with his Groomsmen in The Great Hall finishing off the final wedding preparations whilst Sammy is over in The Gatehouse getting ready with her Bridesmaids; and both were relaxed, smiling and as welcoming as could be. It was going to be a great day.
The wedding did indeed run smoothly and was great fun especially during the mammoth speeches which were in three parts, one each after each course and included the very funny set from The Three Wise Men.
It was a shame we didn't have the opportunity to take some wedding pictures of Adam and Sammy in the castle grounds but as soon as the sun started to go down the temperature suddenly dropped and combined with a chilling wind it was just too cold, however, we managed to get some lovely romantic shots inside so all was fine.
It was our first time at Farnham Castle and it was pleasurable experience; it's a beautiful Surrey wedding venue and the staff were super helpful and friendly.
We wish Sammy and Adam a wonderful honeymoon and a fabulous future together, they make a lovely happy couple.
Here's also a shout out to some of the other suppliers too in particular Sharon and Claire covering hair and make-up who were great to talk to and Ashley from John Harris Videography who was great to work with.

Merry Christmas from Surrey Lane wedding photography
Well the last two days have been pretty full on with weddings at Farnham Castle, Wandsworth Register Office and Hotel Verta followed by a 25th wedding Anniversary Party at Hever Castle and all just a few days before Christmas.
We had a great time at all three events and we wish our happy couples Adam and Sammy, David and Lucy and Paul and Linda a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
Speaking of which, we managed to scoff a few mince pies in the making of our traditional pun filled Christmas card.
Blogs of the three events will follow in the new year.
Hap Pie Christmas everyone and here's to a Happy New Year

Wedding photographers at Morden Hall Park
It's Sunday afternoon and we have just arrived at the Morden Hall Park (not to be confused with nearby Morden Park House), originally a deer park and part of one of many estates that during the industrial revolution used to be situated along the banks of the River Wandle.
We were here for a quick pre wedding photo shoot but as we arrived it began to rain heavily and we thought this may not be such a great experience for our couple Lucy and David. But luckily it stopped as quickly as it arrived and out came the sun and soon we were all walking towards one of the many pretty bridges that cross the Wandle.
Though it was early December, it felt distinctly autumnal and it was great to get some warm romantic pre wedding pictures of Lucy and David together before their big day later in the month when they are getting married at Wandsworth Town Hall and Hotel Verta.

Wedding photographer thank you
As mentioned in a previous Blog on 23rd October, it's always great when you get a thank you from clients, especially when they go to the trouble of sending you a personal card through the post.
We have just received this sweet heartfelt thank you card from Ameeta and Mike a couple who's wedding at Christ Church Sutton we covered in our blog of 19th August, and on a day that Ameeta reminds us was very hot and challenging.
We thank you for taking time to say thank you, as any wedding photographer will tell you, it is always very much appreciated.
