Gate Street Barn wedding photographer
A few weeks ago we were at the charming and tranquil Gate Street Barn hidden away in the sleepy village of Bramley near Guildford for the marriage of Ian and Kayleigh.
We first this lovely couple at Ian's sister's wedding which we photographed at Nonsuch Mansion and just before the wedding we did a pre wed shoot with them on a very hot sunny day at Gate Street Barn.
For the wedding itself, there were a couple of very heavy downfalls but it didn't ruin the proceedings and guests were out in the sunshine in between the showers.
In fact the day went fantastically and it was great for us to meet so many familiar faces and as for the newly-weds, well it will be a day that Ian and Kayleigh will remember forever.
Lovely people, fabulous venue, wonderful day.

Surrey wedding venue vintage style wedding bouquets
Yesterday I popped in to see Emma our highly experienced and friendly local wedding and event florist and owner of Emma Floral Designs.
She had just finished making two beautiful Bride and Bridesmaid's wedding bouquets and wanted some quick photographs of them before she took them to Oaks Farm Weddings down the road.
As I am sure you would agree, Emma's vintage style wedding bouquets are breathtaking and perfect for that pretty rustic Surrey wedding venue.

Clandon Park wedding photographers at Guildford charity walk
Saturday was a beautifully blue sky sunny day and we were back to one of those grand historical Surrey wedding venues that you always remember, Clandon Park, a magnificent Palladian mansion for the marriage of Ross and Melinda.
The wedding day went beautifully and the pictures will be ready to view in a couple of weeks time.
Charity walk stop off in Guildford
We then went onto the Britannia Pub four miles away in Guildford to catch up with my sister Nichola (part of the Sibford Ladies team) who were taking part in a 62 mile London to Brighton charity walk for the British Heart Foundation.
Here are a few pictures of the Ladies relaxing and stretching on the banks of a packed River Wey before resuming their walk, scheduled to finish at Brighton Racecourse around 11am Sunday morning.
Well done to the ladies for completing the 26 plus hours walk and for raising over £1600.

Pre wedding photographers at Brockwell Park
Last Friday took us to the historic Brockwell Park, a large public park that we have passed on many occasions but have never been into, located between Brixton, Dulwich and Herne Hill for a pre wedding photo shoot with our handsome couple Mike and Ameeta.
The park is their local and one they use almost every day and has many interesting features including a charming 19th century clock tower, ornamental ponds as well as a number of historic buildings such as Brockwell Hall and the Brockwell Lido.
For us this afternoon it was the beautiful walled 'Old English' herbaceous flower garden, a tranquil area full of greenery and stunningly colourful blooms and the perfect backdrop for some romantic pre wedding photographs.
As with all our pre wed shoots, which are included in all our Half Day plus wedding packages, these are a great way to see how our couples react to the cameras and in turn for them to see how we work. As you can see from the pictures Mike and Ameeta looked great on the day and their choice of location couldn't have been better and it's one we would definitely go back to. Now we just look forward to covering their wedding at Christ Church Sutton in July.

Pre wedding photography at Coombe Wood Gardens
Last Sunday took us to the tranquil and pretty Coombe Wood Gardens, next door to The Chateau and just a short distance form East Croydon station, for a pre wedding photo shoot with our lovely young couple Robert and Helen.
This great little hidden gem of a venue offers you some real variety with its lovely series of garden 'rooms' to give an all year round display of colourful plants. The weather was a mix of sunshine and clouds and not too warm so just right for a relaxed walk around the gardens which are set to a wonderfully calming and natural woodland backdrop.
As with all our pre wedding photography shoots, which are included in all our Half day plus wedding packages, these are a great way to see how our couples react to the cameras and in turn for them to see how we work. A rather shy Robert got more relaxed into the shoot and we very much look forward to capturing him and Helen for their wedding at Morden Park House in July.
