Wedding photographers at Hallmark Hotel Purley
It's the middle of July and the wedding season is in full swing and this afternoon we are with Neetay and Thalia for their combined Greek and Indian wedding ceremony at The Hallmark Hotel Croydon, a Surrey venue we have worked at when it was known as the Aerodrome Hotel.
Our bubbly and friendly couple had only just come back from Australia where they had a small wedding ceremony in the Royal Botanical Gardens in Sydney and today it was a blessing in front of Thalia's close family.
The Greek part of the ceremony includes the crowning of the Bride and Groom with head wreaths (known as 'stefana'), which are then joined by a white ribbon. The Indian part involves them walking around the table (which would usually be a fire) seven times whilst seven vows are read out.
After a few relaxed family wedding photographs on the steps we walked up to the adjacent Airport House for some more wedding pictures outside this once famous airport (Amy Johnson became the first woman to fly solo from here to Australia in 1930 and her plane can be seen today in the Science Museum) and then by the de Havilland Heron airplane, a small 1950s propeller-driven British airliner.
Neetay and Thalia were great to work with and we look forward to seeing them tomorrow evening for their wedding reception at Shirley Park Golf Club.

Merton Register Office Morden Park House wedding photography
Following on from Robert and Helen's pre wedding photo session in Coombe Wood Gardens it was time for the Big Day itself which was a beautifully relaxed and friendly affair at one of our favourite Surrey wedding venues, the lovely Merton Register Office in Morden Park House.
After the group wedding pictures and a romantic walk in Morden Park, it was off by Double Decker bus to the wedding reception held in the fine function room at the welcoming Brewers Inn down in Wandsworth. We left the happy couple after the wedding speeches and after they had indulged in a number of celebratory shots.
Cheers and good health to you both Robert and Helen, you make a lovely couple.

Wedding photographers at Clandon Park
After our pre wedding shoot in Dulwich Park in early June it was now three weeks later and the Big Day itself had arrived for our couple Ross and Melinda and what better Surrey wedding venue to get married in than at the wonderful Palladian Mansion Clandon Park.
On a beautiful hot sunny day the coolness of both the elegant Tapestry Room where the wedding ceremony is held and the magnificent Marble Hall for the after service drinks was most welcome but a trip out through the colourful formal parterre garden through to the main lawn was a must to make the most of the fine weather.
A lovely day at a wonderful venue and a very happy couple.
We wish them our very best especially as they will very soon have a little addition to their family.

Pre wedding photographers at Wotton House
Another wonderful afternoon weather wise, we were able to walk around the grounds looking at spots for our couple so that on wedding day itself they would know where they would like to go for some more personal and romantic wedding pictures.
Ian and Claire's lovely children were ever present though taken care of by Ian's sister but we did get to fit in a little family portrait shoot as well.
As with all our pre wed shoots, which are included in all our Half Day plus wedding packages, these are a great way to see how our couples react to the cameras and in turn for them to see how we work. As you can see from the pictures Ian and Claire looked relaxed on the day and now we just look forward to covering their wedding day at Wotton House.

Horsley Pre wedding photographers
A weekend or so ago I was up in East Horsley for a pre wedding photo shoot with Tim and Lindsay and a last minute companion, their dog Stella.
It was a gorgeous afternoon and we walked together through a number of green luscious fields ending up at their favourite spot - a bench overlooking some wonderful views of the flower meadows of the North Downs including a beautiful red poppy field.
Stella joined in the fun as she donned a pair of her favourite sunglasses.
It was great fun being with Tim and Lindsay, they are a lovely couple and I very much look forward to photographing their wedding at Horsley Towers in a few weeks time.
Hopefully Stella will make a special guest appearance for some fun wedding photos.
