A blustery February wedding at Russets Country House
Turning briefly away from our extensive catch up of 2015 weddings here's a quick look at a delightful and intimate little wedding from the first week in February this year. We were back down in the quaint little village of Chiddingfold covering Matt and Charlotte's marriage at the very comfortable and welcoming Surrey wedding venue Russets Country House.
In our pre wedding 'Words of Advice' email we had warned Matt and Charlotte of the strong likelihood of rain and indeed the closer the day came the more ominous the signs looked.
But on the day, apart from a blustery wind, which we were able to get around by getting the wedding photos done in the relative calm of the front of Russets, everything was fine.
Everyone had smiles on their faces and when we left the reception at the start of the wedding breakfast we were able to say that everything had worked out perfectly for our wedding couple.
Charlotte looked beautiful and Matt enjoyed being with his brothers and his dad's fabulously well kept Triumph Stag.
Tina also got to meet Thomas and Amy again, whose wedding she had covered in Guildford last year and at which Charlotte had been a Bridesmaid.
All in all, a great February wedding and it was good again to see Tim and Kate in their lovely house and also Louise from the Just Jane catering company - all very friendly and highly professional people.
We wish Matt and Charlotte a wonderful life together.
