Lovely October wedding at Great Fosters
This latest blog takes us back to October for the marriage of Rob and Hannah at the magnificent Great Fosters.
We love working at this wonderful Surrey wedding venue, a truly lovely Grade l listed 16th Century mansion located in green and leafy Egham.
And the last time we saw Rob and Hannah was back in May when we met early one glorious Sunday morning on the Millennium Bridge for their pre wed shoot.

And now, the Big Day had arrived.
The morning started as it usually does with the Bride getting ready with her Bridesmaids...which involved champagne and sandwiches along with several practice walks down the aisle in the atmospheric Nursery Suite upstairs in the old part of the building...whilst the now rather nervous Groom was moving between the Painted Room bar and The Orangery making sure that everything was tickety boo..
Then it was time....and after Hannah had her interview with the marriage registrars she was escorted by her Bridesmaids and close friends (via the Painted Room bar for a quick shot of Dutch Courage) to The Orangery for her wedding ceremony.
After a lovely ceremony everyone luckily could spill out onto the terrace as the weather was perfect...warm and sunny.
With drinks flowing and colourful and enticing canapés on offer guests we able to relax and catch up with family and friends....whilst we fitted in the group wedding pictures and then wisked our newlyweds off for a refreshing and romantic walk around the beautiful grounds that are one of the many highlights of Great Fosters...taking in the sunken Rose Garden, Japanese Bridge, formal Parterre garden and much more.
After some very entertaining and emotional speeches during the wedding breakfast in the Tithe Barn everyone spilled out into the Painted Room for more refreshments and then into The Orangery for the First Dance and more night time celebrations.
A lovely couple, a beautiful day and at a rather special Surrey wedding venue.
Once again we thank the wonderful staff at Great Fosters who helped make the day run so smoothly and we wish our newlyweds all the very bext for their future together.
