Painshill Park wedding photographer on a lovely August day
Today's wedding blog follows on the heals of our last one, as we return to the same wedding venue in August with a gap of just two weeks at the magical Painshill Park just off the A3 in Cobham for the marriage of Lucas and Charlene
The last time we saw our lovely couple was on a bright sunny day in April when we went to Painshill Park for their pre wedding photo shoot...and today along with lovely summer weather, we again started off a few miles away down the road at The Brooklands Hotel where both Charlene and Lucas were getting ready.
Lucas looked calm and collected as he and his best man Harvey dressed to perfection. Very good mates for a long time, both were former non league footballers as well as Harvey, aka MC Harvey being from the famous rap outfit, So Solid Crew.
Charlene looked beautiful in her wedding dress and although calm and collected as well, was also getting slightly nervous as the time to leave for St. Andrews Cobham was approaching.
The wedding was a truly lovely affair with some memorable singing performances from the fabulous CK Gospel Choir....which also ended with the Lucas and Charlenne dancing down the aisle and out of the church, a wonderful moment that energised the whole congregation.
Then onto the tranquil Painshill Park where guests were entertained in the colourful private Walled Garden by the steel band, 'Solid Steel' during the post ceremony drinks.
Then jumping onto a buggy we were whisked off to take some romantic pictures up at the Gothic Temple, The Ruined Abbey and along the lake to the picturesque, white wooden Chinese Bridge.
Back to the reception and the wedding breakfast the day which hotted up later as Harvey took on his MC role with finesse as he expertly talked about and introduced a range of speakers, all with heartfelt and moving stories to tell about Lucas and Charlene.
And then onto the dance floor...music is an important part of Charlene and Lucas's life and as with their dancing out of the church, their first dance was really something to behold, indeed producing smiles, gasps and loud cheering in equal measure.
We left before MC Harvey took to the stage for special wedding day performance but we heard it was very good. A simply wonderful day, with everything running smoothly, full of tears, laughter and emotion.
Special thanks to Junior Harvey for his very entertaining MC skills and to the Painshill Park team who once again made everything happen in a friendly and relaxed way.
Also to Charlene's sister Sharma, owner of the Proud Bakehouse and who made the wonderful wedding cake.
We wish our newlywed couple the very best for the future and look forward to designing their wedding album.
Sizzling Summer wedding at Painshill Park
So it's time to once again try and catch up on the blogs which woefully have been lacking over this year and so we return to August for the marriage of Daniel and Leanne at the magical Painshill Park just off the A3 in Cobham.
The last time we saw our lovely couple was on a bright sunny day in June when we went to Painshill Park for their pre wedding photo shoot...and today along with lovely summer weather, we started off a few miles away down the road at The Brooklands Hotel where Leanne was getting ready.
The day was memorable for many reasons but a few were more so than usual.
Firstly was the raw emotion on display: As Leanne approached Daniel down the aisle you could clearly see the emotions welling up in both of them...and a quick look over to their four sons showed tears a plenty...it truly meant a lot to the whole family.
A guest (Leanne's cousin) who was ushered in at the last minute to join his already seated family was Lewis Hamilton, yes that Lewis Hamilton, four-time Formula One World Champion, a true British global sporting legend and a very pleasant, quiet and unassuming man to boot.
Later after everyone was seated for the wedding breakfast Daniel's mother lead a troupe of mainly ladies dancing and singing around the tables and onto the dance floor for some pre dinner dancing.
The emotions again were on display during the speeches with some very moving moments displayed on the top table as well as some very funny ones when Daniel was encouraged to sing....people were in stitches.
The Soundhouse Band were truly fabulous...walking around the tables during the wedding breakfast getting people to sing and later filling the dance floor with their soulful upbeat music.
Also the Master of Ceremonies, a Mr Des Richards who was a true whirlwind of a speaker who danced and sang through his duties, very funny and entertaining.
After the pre wed walk in June Leanne was just wishing for good weather on her BIG Day. She got that and a whole lot more and it was a delight for us to see everything go so well for her and Daniel.
A truly lovely couple with a wonderful warm and loving family.... and friends.
We salute them and wish them all the very best for the future and fingers crossed too for Lewis who we sincerely hope becomes a fifth-time Formula One World Champion this year.
Finally we thank the lovely staff at Painshill Park who made everything run so smoothly, so important.
