Ewell Court House wedding photographer gets rock chick bride
We had last seen Paul and Finn back in April when we joined them at their wedding venue Ewell Court House, a venue unbeknown to us and just a short distance from the A3 that we had passed by on many occasions.
We were here for their pre wedding photo shoot and being a lovely sunny Sunday we got to walk round the beautiful park that is adjacent to the venue, finding areas that we could potentially come back to for their wedding many months later in the last week of October.
And now the Big Day had arrived and again it was a beautiful day; with Finn starting with her mum and Bridesmaids in The Greyhound Hotel in Carshalton whilst Paul was at the venue helping make sure that everything was set up as planned.
With a lovely heartfelt marriage ceremony and with music from friends and girl band The Dolls, it was out into the sunshine on the terrace for champagne and canapés, bubbles and group wedding photos. Who could have believed that this was late October?
Then, quickly stealing them away for a romantic walk around the park, we set about retracing some of our pre wed shoot steps, in particular to the magical and fairy-tale like Pack Horse Bridge.
Then before the wedding speeches and afternoon Tea there was the cutting of the cake...or should we say cakes...It turned out that there were some 80 plus individually made and decorated cakes, presented in mugs and sporting a range of accessories, all made by the Paul’s mum. What a supreme effort and resulting in a wonderful display of colour and fun.
The theme for the wedding was music, as Paul and Finn both share a passion for it along with the fact that Finn runs a music teaching business...so LP album themed tables, special love mix tape cassettes and CDs plus The Dolls were the order of the day.
The theme however reached a crescendo in the evening when after a set by The Dolls, Finn donned a guitar and joined the band for another set. Needless to say it took everyone, including Paul by surprise and it was a truly memorable moment that we don’t think anyone will forget.
We applaud you both for a super wedding where everyone had fun and so much effort was put into making it all so personal.
We wish you a fabulous future ahead of you.
