My introduction to photography came at 13 years old when my mum and dad bought me a Zenith TTL, a very heavy Russian built SLR film camera. But it was at university where I really caught the passion, capturing people, bands and street life and then magically developing base film into celluloid gold.

After an exciting career in marketing and advertising agencies where I honed my creative, business and client skills, I decided in 2007 to enter the world of wedding photography and I’ve never looked back.

An enduring affair

I love wedding photography, for me it's an all consuming affair and one that is always exciting and rewarding. After every wedding I alway leave on a high, with a smile on my face, every time, without fail. And after over 500+ weddings later I still find every wedding an exciting and precious event. For me it’s not just a job, it is my passion.

...And on the move...

I'm very friendly and easy to talk to, with a relaxed attitude to life, unless I am running, usually a marathon, which I have a sort of love-hate relationship with, in that I love the marathon but the marathon isn't so in love with me… I often miss getting to the starting line due to wedding bookings and inevitable injuries along the way. Gone are the days when I would do a wedding in the Cotswolds on the Saturday, drive home that night and then run a PB in the London Marathon the next day.

Crashing but not drowning

I am fairly well travelled, and amongst my many past misadventures, I have survived a Boeing 737 on fire and crash landing over Brazil; being rescued from The Pacific Ocean after been carried out by a riptide; and running out of oxygen 30 meters below the ocean on the Great Barrier Reef.

I love nature and the outdoors, particularly walking in the wilds and up mountains, cycling, skiing, beer drinking, wine tasting, perusing art galleries and car boot sales along with mudlarking on The Thames.

Joining me are long time collaborators, Tina and Larry, who with bucket loads of experience, know-how and passion, will help make your Surrey wedding experience just perfect.

Tina

Having been a professional, full-time wedding photographer for over twelve years, Tina now concentrates her time in the studio, editing all our wedding images, designing wedding albums and ordering prints, an area that she is passionate about and which perfectly suits her previous interior design skills.

Keeping everything in-house in this way also means we don’t keep our couples waiting longer than they should to see the wonderful picture story of their wedding. We also let you know the date when your photos will be ready to view so you don't have to chase us for an update and we pride ourselves on presenting them on time.

Larry

Larry is our incredibly skilled IT geek. As well as helping us design and constantly improve our website he keeps our systems ticking over nice and smoothly so that everything works tickety-boo. When Larry is not working with us he is an accomplished full-time artist, exhibiting his eye-catching work in the UK and around the world. We can't say anymore though or show his face, he's a bit of a Banksy.
